Formed in 2023, Playing with Fire's wide range of music and electric live performances have made them the must-see cover band in New England. The groups' diverse repertoire includes original songs and covers from the likes of Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, and many others. Comprised of lead vocalist Liv Twomey, guitarist Karston Long, bassist Fedrick Blemur, and drummer Matt Brown, Playing with Fire has played everywhere from the Boston Conservatory of Music at Berklee, Drift Bar and Restaurant in Gloucester, MA, Dwyer's Pub in Portsmouth, NH, Freddy's Bar in Brooklyn, NY, and numerous places in between. Meet the Band!
Playing with Fire consists of four members, Matt (Drummer), Liv (Vocalist), Karston (Guitarist), and Feddy (Bassist).
Matt has played the drums since he was 12. He attended Loyola University at New Orleans and played with various groups there. Liv has been singing for as long as she can remember and currently attends the Berklee School of Music where she studies Songwriting and Vocal Performance. Karston and Feddy both picked up their instruments for the first time during the COVID-19 pandemic and are both largely self-taught. Yet, both are thrilled to be apart of a band for the first time! |
